
St. George's Day
On Monday 23rd April, we celebrated St. George's Day. We watched a video clip on CBeebies of children dressing up in armour and making dragons. The children heard the story of George and the Dragon. Several children used hobby horses, shields, flags and dragons to retell the story whilst some children chose to draw a picture. Growing!
We welcome the children back to Nursery at the start of a new term. Our new topic is 'Growing' and we have all enjoyed planting cress seeds. We have talked about what seeds are and have used our senses to explore and describe them. We have changed our indoor role-play area to a 'Garden Centre' and it is proving very popular! The sun finally made an appearance so we made the most of the outdoors; enjoying the new playground markings, climbing wall, tyres and bushcraft area. Ne
