We enjoyed the lovely story of Spinderella, a little spider who wants to learn about numbers. We iced biscuits like Spinderella giving her eight legs. We have had another busy week in Nursery with more stories by Julia Donaldson. We have made our own Stick Man by exploring the Bushcraft area for suitable sticks and Mr Earle was able to carve a Stick Man face on our Monday afternoon session. We have also made our own rhyming hats linked to the story of Room on the Broom and some fantastic magic wands. Next week is our last full week at Nursery and our last day is Tuesday 24th July.
We were all so excited to board the coach for our much awaited trip to the Playhouse Theatre in Norwich! We have been reading a selection of books written by Julia Donaldson this half-term so it was a real treat to see one of our favourite's 'What the Ladybird heard', brought to life on stage! The children sat beautifully in the theatre and the performance was amazing. Thank you for allowing us to share this experience with your children, their faces said it all!
