Spinderella and a Julia Donaldson character treasure hunt!
We enjoyed the lovely story of Spinderella, a little spider who wants to learn about numbers. We iced biscuits like Spinderella giving her eight legs. Sports Day
Thank you to all our parents, carers, family and friends for coming along to support our fantastic little 'Sporting Superstars'. The children listened amazingly well to the instructions given at the start of each race and I think you will agree, they all did brilliantly! Next stop......The Olympics?!

Stick Man and Room on the Broom
We have had another busy week in Nursery with more stories by Julia Donaldson. We have made our own Stick Man by exploring the Bushcraft area for suitable sticks and Mr Earle was able to carve a Stick Man face on our Monday afternoon session. We have also made our own rhyming hats linked to the story of Room on the Broom and some fantastic magic wands. Next week is our last full week at Nursery and our last day is Tuesday 24th July.

A trip to the Theatre...

We have been reading a selection of books written by Julia Donaldson this half-term so it was a real treat to see one of our favourite's 'What the Ladybird heard', brought to life on stage! The children sat beautifully in the theatre and the performance was amazing. Thank you for allowing us to share this experience with your children, their faces said it all!

Hippo has a hat
This week we have explored yet another Julia Donaldson book - Hippo has a hat. We have been trying on different types of hats. Just look at us! We have been thinking about which hat we like best and why. We have also been designing our own hats using different types of paper, feathers and sequins. On Monday and during this week we had our transition day where the Nursery class children visited their new class or new school. We had a circle time session where we shared our
