
Baa Baa Black Sheep
Baa Baa Black Sheep seems to be one of our favourite Nursery Rhymes. The children loved singing the upbeat version of the song which we have practised with Mrs Loveland during our music lessons. The children concentrated brilliantly when testing out their 'listening ears' and found that they worked "even better!" when their eyes were closed. Chinese New Year
The children have been fascinated to learn about children from different cultures. We explored Chinese New Year, looking at: how it is celebrated, what food is eaten, what clothes are worn and how this compares to celebrations we have experienced. Jack and Jill
This week we started the week with a cold frost. We talked about ice and explored some objects that appeared to be "trapped"! How could we break the ice and find what was inside? The children discussed some great ideas and tried out some very different techniques!! Eventually, we decided that the ice needed to "melt".
