Old MacDonald

Our Nursery rhyme this week has been Old MacDonald had a farm. The children have enjoyed role playing with the small world farmyard, making different animal noises and playing a listening game on the interactive board.

Here we are singing brumm, brumm, digger, digger. The children then look for the number and count out the same amount of animals to go in Old MacDonald's field.

We had such fun in placing Old MacDonald in different places in the classroom such as under the table, on the chair, beside the teacher, behind the door, in front of the books that we decided to play this game outside. We used lots of positional language and the children loved running to the different places as asked.

In the tyre, under the tree and in front of the Ark.
