It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!....

Following on from our Stickman story last week, we explored 'snow' further. We used shaving foam in a tray and used our hands to try to find the hidden numbers and sparkly snowflakes. The children had fun describing the texture of the 'snow' saying, "it's so soft", "it's foamy" and "it's sparkly"! We used sticks to make marks in the snow too, drawing big circles, lines, numbers and letters.

We enjoyed many other mark making opportunities this week! The paint inside zip-lock bags proved popular. Some children used their fingers to make marks and others used cotton buds. We also had fun decorating our Christmas craft diva pots and packaging. The children used marbles rolled in paint to create an effective pattern on their name labels.

Thank you to all who came and supported our school Christmas Fayre on Saturday, and a special thank you to all our super volunteers!

It was lovely to see some of you in Santa's Grotto. How amazing did our nursery look?!

We look forward to seeing you for our very special Nativity performances this week and thank you for your continued support.
