Incy Wincy Spider

We have been learning a new nursery rhyme this week. Incy Wincy Spider has been busy climbing up and down the spout! The children have been joining in with the words and actions and have loved watching the nursery rhyme video on the interactive whiteboard.

We used our 'Funky Fingers' to squeeze the tweezers and rescue the bugs from Incy Wincy spiders web!

We enjoyed our visit to the Bushcraft area on Monday. It was a cold, frosty day but we wrapped up warm and went on a journey with our sticks, collecting and attaching natural objects along the way.

Introducing Rhyming pairs

We have also been playing games this week to introduce rhyming pairs. The children were given a wooden picture and tried to find another object/animal that rhymed; eg; Peg & leg, Frog & dog.

We have been exploring our number of the week - Number 2.

I wonder how many numbers you can see when you are at home or out and about?

We enjoyed watching the 'NumTums' song and Cbeebies NumberBlocks.

Don't forget to send in your reply slip regarding our trip to the theatre, thank you.
