The children came in 2 by 2, Hoorah!

WOW! It has been such a long time since we have posted a blog about the children and life in The Ark. This week we began our staggered entry of the children and it has been great to meet all the new faces.

We have been a VERY busy bunch! We have had our "First Day" documented on the new display... and when it comes to our "Last Day" we will recreate the photos and see how much we have grown and changed across the year. It will soon whizz past!

We have LOVED sharing our All About Me books too! This has helped some of us when we have felt wobbly, as it is emotional leaving your Mummy/Daddy for the first time. These are also a great way of us getting to know one another...including our grown-ups! We are loving the chance to share these with our new friends!

We have loved finding our Mini-Mes which have been "hidden" in Nursery. We are enjoying using these in our small world play too.

Lunch time has also been exciting with our yummy hot dinners cooked on site by Sue and Lisa! We are loving our dinner ladies Mrs Philpott, Mrs Chicken (Cockrill) and Miss James. Yummy yummy in my tummy!

As one of our activities this week we have become pirates so that our grown-ups can learn about the colours we can name. We have used a treasure chest filled with treasures to name all the basic colours as well as gold and silver! Ahah me hearties!

It may look very quiet in the background of all this week's photos, but it has been a VERY busy week already! And we still have more Arklets to join us next week and definitely much more fun to be had!

Thanks for reading!

See you next week!

Miss G
